Ark, ark, danger, danger.
That Common Brushtail Possum is still around and using our back fences for travel. Last week, she decided to make the trek during the day when Galahs were feeding. She had a rather large joey clinging to her back and suddenly the cry went up and so too did the birds and their wings! Oh dear, of dear, the noise was almost deafening. Here the Galahs, some at least are sounding the alarm and making a clear direction to get out of the area. And she did, quite fast, in fact too fast for me to get the camera going before she was well past.
And of course, after all that she posed no threat to the birds at all. But perhaps they just see something like a cat and no harm in being cautious.
And lastly, may I now wish all my flickr friends a most safe and happy New Year. I hope happy because I have a feeling, all in all 2025 is going to be a wild and at times unpleasant ride. Take care all.
