Purple confetti.

It's been Jacaranda time in Brisbane for the last few weeks and they are really getting into their stride. I think they often do better in dry conditions which we have at the moment. What does rain look like?

This car was getting a light dusting of purple petals on Rainbow Street (perhaps an appropriate name), Shorncliffe.

We have had one of those forgettable weeks when everything we touched turned to colours other than gold but I am hoping to finish off the series about our August driving holiday in the southern half of Queensland over the next week or so. And wonderful news in Melbourne and Victoria, after a hard battle which has stretched everyone to breaking point to stop the spread of a nasty COVID-19 second wave, light at the end of the tunnel. Not total freedom yet, but some positive steps and success.
