A photo taken at Carmel Head, the north westerly corner of Anglesey. Up at 4 am, a 45 minute walk and got here for 5.45 to catch this sunrise. Quite satisfying :)).
These are sighting beacons built inthe 1850's so that sailors could use them to locate a submerged rock shelf to the left of the small island you can see out to sea.
[I had three pictures in mind this morning. The tide was wrong for one - so that was a non-starter. The second was a telephoto long exposure of the Skerries lighthouse that needs a re-think. This was the third, and I am pleased with the result :)) So 1 out of 3? Not bad :))]
