Lifebird #548 / #359
Global / North America
Seems like I should have seen this one before, but I was just never in the right place at the right time. On this morning as I was driving through the property with the windows down, I heard a loud insect-y buzz that yet sounded possibly bird-y, so I stopped the car to look, and there he was standing prominently atop this dirt hill. He sang and sang, then did an odd little hop-wing-raise display, flew to another perch, then flew back here.
