Rock Dove / Feral Pigeon (Columba livia) at Bempton Cliffs

Rock Dove / Feral Pigeon (Columba livia) preparing to launch itself off the edge of a cliff. This bird does not have the typical plumage colouring of a pure Rock Dove so is likely a feral variant or a racing pigeon returned to the wild.

Photo taken at Bempton Cliffs, East Yorkshire, England in June.
