Soi Cowboy Bang 7-11-14 4
A look down the infamous Soi Cowboy red-light street in Bangkok, Thailand, this shot taken from just outside of the "The Dollhouse" bar. Taken at about 1000 local time, nothing is open yet - Soi Cowboy doesn't "come alive" until at least 1600. (4PM for the non-military...) Taken by a Nikon D610 at ISO 400 with a Nikkor 35-105mm ƒ 3.5-4.5 AF lens (at 35)
The food cart seen at left is representative of the carts that are ubiquitous throughout Thailand, BTW - they're everywhere, (or, at least, everywhere I went in Thailand!) and the Thai nationals eat from them, some on an every-day-of-the-year basis, in spite of the obvious (to western eyes...) sanitation problems...
The umbrella is advertising the Chang brand of beer and water, (it has elephants [chang in the Thai language...] on the label...) and this cart appears to have Chang water bottles for sale.
