King Cake Trial #5
A fusion of New Orleans and Paris... It's the Louisiana King Cake (altho I didn't feel the need to make a ring with such a small test batch), but the filling is the same as in a French Galette des Rois: almond cream.
We're going to eat it while watching the Super Bowl. Go Saints!
