198 of 365: Me under the St Brynach's bleeding yew lamp
When Kate was pregnant with Will fifteen years ago we went on holiday with Sarah, Matt, and Tom to Dinas in Pembrokeshire in Wales. Meg would wake early so I'd take her off for a walk and then we'd all meet up at a fabulous tea shop (in Felindre Farchog?) One of the spots Meg and I found was St Brynach's church in Nevern. It's the church with the famous "Bleeding Yews" in the churchyard that have red sap that looks like blood. They'd recently had some tree surgery done and we stumbled upon a local wood carver who was turning and carving the Bleeding Yews off-cuts so we brought a lamp. Here it is above my head.
