Andean Condor (Vultur gryphus)
See adjoining pic also. This bird was rescued from parents who rejected him, and were attacking him, trying to kill him! He has permanent neurological damage involving his leg. He was raised in a rehab setting, and imprinted on humans. He can not be set free.
He goes through a mating rituals aimed at humans instead of a girl condor. He was quite the show-off!
He lives at "Hawk Creek", a wildlife rehab and sanctuary facility near Buffalo.
