Did some minor touchup work.

This one was a lot more difficult. I was going for the "painterly effect", inspired by the movie "What Dreams May Come" (one of my daugher's favorite movies). I essentially used the same Low Key and Crush effect as the other image in this set, but in the opposite direction. Instead of dropping the saturation levels, I pushed them up about 2/3. I also increased the lightness about 1/3. I then created additional layers from the background original and played with the colors in each layer, until I found a look I liked. My daughter loved the effect!

I am not entirely pleased with a few areas, but I think it will pass for a decent first try.

note: The ring flash has a weird effect on skin that is close to bright reflective colors. Checkout the glow around the jawline and chin - this was entirely due to the ring light effect. If I could learn to harness that effect, it might make for some really interesting images.
