OOA Mother's Day
KABUL, Afghanistan - Soldiers from the 26th “Yankee” Brigade brought clothing and school supplies to the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled in honor Afghanistan's Mothers Day holiday on June 13, 2011. Spc. Bulgar Limchao, a geospatial engineer and Spc. Kareem Olaniyi, a billeting specialist, both for Task Force Yankee’s Department of Public Work section, volunteer for Operation Outreach Afghanistan (OOA). OOA provides assistance to the Afghan people in the form of: non-perishable food, clothing, toys, school supplies and other household items. The majority of items are obtained via donations.
One of the organization’s goals is to empower the Afghan people through compassionate humanitarian assistance.
