Chad Clark and The Cajun Fuel Allstars Band presented a“Tribute to Mr. Hubert Maitre” at the Liberty Theater, March 23, 2019. Maitre, who died in 2017, was a guitarist and vocalist who played with many Cajun groups going back to the 1950s. Among various awards he received, his recording of Camey Doucet's song “La Vieille Chaudière Noire,” the title cut of his 2000 CD, won the Cajun French Music Association's Song of the Year Award.
