The Babineaux Sisters performed at the Liberty Theater Sept. 29, 2018, with Gracie on accordion, fiddle, and vocals, Julie on bass, and Gus, their young brother, on spoons and triangle. Other members of the band were Maci Lopez on rhythm and electric guitar and Noah McLain on drums. Ray Landry hosted the show.

The Babineaux Sisters will be on the Scène Mon Héritage Stage 10:45-11:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Festivals Acadiens et Crèoles in Lafayette and then will return to the stage at 2:30 p.m. for an all-star tribute Caesar Vincent. Their recording of one of Vincent’s songs will be included on “Travailler, c’est trop dur: The Lyrical Legacy of Caesar Vincent,” a CD that will be released at the festival.
