Earlier, three well known Cajun musicians performed at the weekly 2:45-3:45 p.m. music program on the Bal de Maison Stage at the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center next door to the Liberty. Zachary Fuselier on fiddle and vocals introduced the songs and described their place in the Cajun repertoire. Other members of the trio, both also vocalists, were Jason Frey on accordion and Lisa Trahan on guitar. The performance also featured music program regular Matt Fruge on triangle and vocals. The center is part of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve.
