27th annual World Championship Crawfish Étouffée Cook-Off, Eunice, March 25, 2012
These photos were taken between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the 27th annual World Championship Crawfish Étouffée Cook-Off held at the Northwest Pavilion in Eunice, March 25, 2012.

Music was provided by Briggs Brown and the Bayou Cajuns and by Paul Daigle and Cajun Gold. The bands performed on a strongly backlit stage at one end of the pavilion.

Teams representing various businesses and groups competed in amateur, organization, and professional categories. Judges determined the winners who prepared the best crawfish étouffée. A large crowd showed up to purchase samples from the team booths ($2 a cup) and to enjoy some great Cajun music.
