The photos in these sets were taken from mid-afternoon Saturday until about midnight Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at the Black Pot Festival held at Acadian Village, Lafayette, LA. This remarkable two-day event, organized by the Red Stick Ramblers, offers Cajun, Creole, and Zydeco music and other roots music of all kinds. In addition to music and impromptu jam sessions, the festival features a cookoff, accordion contest, and a chance to meet people from all over. Camping space is available.
