Hadley J. Castille (1933-2012) and Sarah Jayde Williams
Hadley J. Castille, whose story-telling songs, phenomenal fiddling in the tradition of Harry Choates, and tireless promotion of Cajun culture and Cajun French made him a legend, died Oct. 25, 2012, at the age of 79. He will be greatly missed. His granddaughter, Sarah Jayde Williams, is now playing his blue fiddle, and, joined by his son, Blake, the Castille legacy will live on.
