Yoshi-take "Yoshi" Nakabayashi, Festivals Acadiens et Créoles, Oct. 12, 2019
Yoshi-take "Yoshi" Nakabayashi from Japan performed during Horace Trahan’s set (he initially made contact with Horace in 2010). A fan of Louisiana music after he got a Clifton Chenier record 25 years ago, he attended Festivals Acadiens et Créoles in 2003 when he first started playing zydeco music. In 2019, in addition to performing as part of Horace’s set, he played at festival jam sessions and at other area venues. (He previously performed at other venues elsewhere in the United States and internationally.) Megan Wyatt’s article in the Oct. 10, 2019, issue of The Advocate has more information about him and his visit to Acadiana.
