LeBeau Zydeco Festival: Rusty Metoyer, Geno Delafose, Step Rideau,, July 6, 2019
These photos of the 29th annual LeBeau Zydeco Festival were taken on the grounds of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Saturday, July 6, 2019, between 2:30 and 7 p.m. The festival, held each year on the first Saturday in July, raises money for the church.

The festival, which ran from noon until 10 p.m., featured music by Nathan and The Zydeco Cha Chas, Rusty Metoyer and The Zydeco Krush, Geno Delafose and French Rockin’ Boogie, Step Rideau and The Zydeco Outlaws, and Lil Nathan and The Zydeco Big Timers. In addition to music, the festival offers a variety of Creole dishes and other food items. For more information about the festival, go to www.facebook.com/LebeauZydecoFestival/.

It was a hot, sunny day, but, with an intermittent light northwest breeze, it was tolerable under the large pavilion. Everyone seemed to be having a really good time.
