Orca Pals

To help raise money to pay for our trip to San Fransisco (27 days!!) we had a car wash, pancake breakfast, and rummage sale.

We've been up since 5:30.

I got there at about 6:30 and quickly found Jenna and the others, and there before me I see this huge stuffed orca.

Arthur, another freshman trumpet (Whom I know from last year in band) was selling it so I took it for my own. 5 bucks! He was upset to see his buddy go.

I named him Alex. Don't I look so happy? I was thrilled.

Arthur was selling two orcas, and Joe (Clarinet) bought the second one, but it has no name.

It was so much fun. There were lots of orcas for sale.

We ended up taking most of the small stuffed animals (Beanie Babies, as well as others) and stuffed them in instrument locker 129 (It stands for January 29, which was when we went to Disneyland)

We told the band if they're ever having a bad day, to open up locker 129 and cuddle the toys.

But good luck putting them back in and closing it.
