Exploded - Lands End, Cornwall, England
take a look in the Lightbox, HIT L
Well, I not really sure how to describe the light here. It was one of the most intense sunsets I've have photographed. There was 30 minutes of incredible light that was constantly changing, getting more intense by the minutes. When I left, the light was still going off. I seriously thought the sensor in my camera was going to explode. The dynamic range of colors this evening was unbelievable. There were so many different shades of red, orange, magentas, pinks, it was so intense. I hadn't seen a sunset like this on the coast in a very long time, and probably won't for a while either. And believe it or not I had to desaturate the image quite a bit.
My trip to the UK was awesome! The landscape there in the UK is a photographers dream, and can be your worst nightmare. Out of 9 days, there was two days of great light , the rest of the time it was grey skies. Between the rain and strong winds along the coast you never know what type of conditions that you are going to get. But nonetheless I still had a great time. I had the opportunity to meet Joe Rainbow, Raymond Bradshaw and Tony Armstrong. These guys are awesome and a great group of photographers . They have some of the best images of the UK, and if you get a chance go check out their work. I can't wait to get back there sometime in the future.
Looks like the fall colors are in full swing. I'm hoping to get out soon and catch some of the color if possible, but it's that time of the year when the Southwest starts getting really interesting and fun. Hope everyone is doing well, and hope to see some of you guys out and about this fall. Peace!
