Lighthouse in Iceland

Kálfshamarsvík, a small bay, north of which is Kálfshamarsnes. Around 1900 there was a fishing station there, and a small settlement, but it was finally abandoned around the time of the depression, 1940. Interesting basalt columns. Signposts bearing the names of the buildings and inhabitants and much other information have been put up in various places in Kálfshamarvík.
