The colourfully windowed old Hill Street Police Station (now the MICA building) is a well known landmark of Singapore City. This was opened originally in 1934.
The facade of the building made a very attractive backdrop and was just asking for the typical 'pedestrian' shot. Liked the contrasting red banner as well which has been put up for the upcoming National Day celebrations on 9th August.
Notes: Adjusted Curves and did some lens perspective correction to get all the lines straight (itching to replace this lens!). Painted in -0.4 exposure and -0.6 brightness on the lamp post to give it some prominence. Unsharp mask and clarity adjustment to enhance the detailed square lines adorning the walls of the building as well as the detail of the windows. Applied C41-E6 (Yellow) Digital Cross processing to get the colour tone.
