Eumelea rosalia - Mt. Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia
A rather colorful moth hanging on the underside of a leaf near a trail in the montane forests of Mount Kinabalu. I saw a few of these moths but everytime I approached to get the shot I wanted they would leave their perch and fly towards the light of m headlamp, dimming my headlamp and carefully approaching ended up being the key to get a photograph of one at rest.
EDIT: Thanks to photos from fellow Flickr user Bernard Dupont, I think this is a Eumelea rosalia, a colorful species found from the Indo-Australian tropics east to Northern Australia and New Caledonia.
