Norway City Manager Ray Anderson Attends June 2011 Michigan Municipal League Board Meeting
The Board of Trustees for the Michigan Municipal League met June 3 in the League’s Ann Arbor office to discuss general League business and to approve the League budget and the Michigan Municipal League Foundation budget for the next fiscal year. In addition, new Trustee Richard Bolen, councilmember in Wakefield, Michigan, was sworn in and warmly welcomed to the group. League Trustee and Utica Mayor Jackie Noonan also presented the League with a prestigious Special Recognition Award from the city of Utica for “112 years of education, legislative representation, and the encouragement to improve all municipal service.” For the latest happenings in Lansing and information on the state budget, check out our legislative blog, Inside 208 (www.mml.org/advocacy/inside208/default.aspx).
