I opted for very light quilting. I decided to let the patchwork be the centerpiece. My husband called it "very high tech like pixels." I guess in a way, it is. I used a very geeky computer algorithm as I drew my log cabin circles. Who knew years of computer science and graphics would pay off in the form of a doll quilt?

I went for a simple blue binding that contrasted with the solid colors. I hope this will look good on your wall or on a table or on a doll bed.

I normally wouldn't choose the colour scheme either. I'm also not sure it was my partner's first choice. For example, the fact that I opted to put the purplish-berry in is very unlike me. I'm not normally a "berry" fan and only owned it from a custom project for someone else. But my partner will just have to trust that I auditioned every solid that I owned and these were the combinations that worked the best. They jumped out at me as I was making the project.

Thank you everyone for the kind words.
