Ringo Pie - Spring for Lucinda

Lucinda asked for spring for March in Ringo Pie. She wanted the kind of spring where hints of grass are just peeping though, getting ready to flower in neutrals. Having just travelled to New Zealand, I was inspired by ferns and odd plants growing in the strangest places.

 

They sort of look like dying triangle plants, but I think they'll keep Penny's alien iris good company. They are small. The largest one is 4"x5.5" finished.
