Taken Sunday, 10/10/10.
I went up early, but on the other hand too late. Originally, I wanted to go someplace else, but it was already too late in order to get there with good morning light. Instead, I decided mid-way to just head to another place I somewhat like, a small lake in the north of Berlin called "Gorinsee" (Gorin Lake). Really small, you can surround it within 45 minutes, but in the midst of forest.
Personally, I wanted to photograph something else than scenics anyway, and try some forest shots too, so there I was. Exchanging my 16-35/f4 wide-angle to the 70-200/2.8 zoom and go for tighter compositions. Among the pictures (see here), this is my most favorite one. Things just fit, after walking around a bit. The light coming down, hitting that tree stump, composing everything, getting closer, farther to have everything in a nice frame. Moving my feet. 70 mm, f13 for depth of field.
