Aerial view of the coastal desert around Nazca, Peru, on a sightseeing flight with Alas Peruanas airline. The black line bisecting the landscape horizontally in the middle is the Panamerican Highway from Lima to Chile. There's almost nothing to see from the ground, arguably there's nothing super spectacular to see from the sky either. I was there already, weary after a 14 hour bus ride from Cuzco and needed a diversion, I'm glad I took the flight, $100USD, for 40 minutes or so, frightening 4 seat Cessna that shook with every wind shift, but I wouldn't do it again even if they paid me.
