that has to get better!
My first try to photograph milky way. it's been a long time since I saw milky way because of all that light pollution around Munich (and it was even much more impressive in real). But my camera (Lumix tz202) produced vertical stripes with long exposure (1 minute) and a lot of noise because of ISO 5000... I guess I should try raw mode and 4K stacking and less exposure time and less ISO and... - or another camera... ;) ........ I promise it will get better :)
But there was a good visibility of Mars and Saturn that night. Mars is getting closer and closer to the Earth. Mars reaches opposition on Friday, July 27 when the Earth will move between Mars and the Sun and when we'll have also a Lunar Eclipse (with 103 minutes the longest in 21st century!). The closest approach (perigee) of Mars to Earth (57.6 million kilometers) will be on July 31.
See some notes in the photo.
