Chicken Cordon Bleu
I kind of made my own recipe for this cordon bleu, I pounded the chicken as flat as possible, then seasoned it on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and italian seasoning, and then I let it sit for about a half hour. Next placed deli ham and swiss on it with a squeeze of dijon mustard, and rolled it on up. Then I coated it with flour, next a beated egg, and then italian bread crumbs, and baked it at 350* for 35 minutes. Served with caesar salad, a croissant (buttered w/ parmesan) and Betty Crocker "Sour Cream & Chives" mashed potatoes with Heinz "Roasted Turkey" gravy. Holy cow, this was so freakin' delicious! You gotta try it!
