Grandma says she hated doing this, because you do each square separately, then sew them together, and they aren't actually pieced and quilted like a normal quilt. The effect is a lot like a Cathedral Window quilt, but it's not.


I love it because I can recognize so many of the fabrics - mom's old clothes she made, my curtains when I was a baby, fabric I used in the first (and only, ahem) quilt I made - very, very cool.


My grandma has only been quilting for about six or seven years... she has always been crafty though - she sews so well, her stitches are *perfect*!
