In Memory

One year on.

Love and missing Billy my wonderful husband and best friend so much.

The happy hours we once enjoyed,

How sweet their memory still,

But losing you has left a space,

This world can never fill.

Sycamore Gap (Robin Hood's Tree)

Hadrian's Wall near Twice Brewed in Northumberland.

tree used in the film Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.

Sycamore Gap is a section of the Wall between two crests just west of Mile castle 38. As well as the Wall, people come here to see ‘Robin Hood’s Tree’, named for its use in the 1991 film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, starring Kevin Costner. It is also the site of the tallest piece of surviving Wall.
