Stare Way

Designed by Josef Paul Kleihues of Berlin, the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art’s new building was built in 1996. The main stairway that connects the 5 story space combines clean lines and organic form. The petal shaped space is capped off by a koi pond at its base and a skylight above.
