Larry and His Flash was the first of two opening acts for the Dropkick Murphys.
One could have very well watched these guys & gotten up to leave afterward having thought they'd just seen a headlining act. For a band that doesn't even have an album yet, these guys were absolutely phenomenal.
The drummer was front and center without a seat; the guitarist's vocals were top-notch; and the bassist... well the bassist was absolutely insane.
All the members were oustanding, with most of them mingling among the crowd a bit several times during their show. On their last song: three of them donned brass and added a ska flair to the show.
With a good engineer working on their album, these guys could soon make quite a name for themselves. I only hope their album is half as good as their live show. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for these guys the next time they journey from Portland to the mid-Atlantic.
