smooth black skin captured beautifully. am glad he was wearing the form fitting jersey :). like the happy carefree moment. don't love the proportions but i wouldn't have cropped the streetlights either

Shallow depth of field--nice symmetry. Keep!

nice detail of life... but i'm not a fan of the use of negative space here... a landscape or strict portrait format might've gone down better

Agree with Jedi. Shots like this one need to be shown at certain aspect ratios. As it is I think we have a little too much background detracting attention from subjects.

i probably would have been tempted to keep the bokehed arches and the lamppost in the frame as well, as they're nice details. but i will third Jedi and ILPARM. the couple are great, and the bw is great, but the frame doesn't focus attention on them the way it should.

I like the tones, interesting how they are in such an apparently intimate moment yet each one so otherwise absorbed. Keep.

i wouldn't say you have lost it entirely - but definitely you have lost it mostly

I like the couple - you got their looks just right - but I dislike the blown out whites. Especially where her trousers merge with the background.

I'm not one to like narrow depth of field but in this case it works. What the hell are these two doing together when each is in a different place?

On black especially this image is really strong. Would look good printed large and hung on a wall. Good shot.

I like that this. Hey lets be fake and phony and into ourselves but hug anyway. Did you do the DOF effect with photoshop or something? If it was ill let slide this time but it looks bizarre.
