Pick a bunch log cabin quilt

    Newer Older

Finally, I have a quilt big enough for my family.
Quilt made from 49 log cabin arranged in the shape of a cross. Pattern adapted from the Modern Log Cabin book written by Susan Beal. Each complete block has 20 individual pieces of fabric. Log cabins created using 2.5 inch strips. Fabrics are Pick a bunch by Nancy Mims and Kona white. Final size 81 x 81 inches. Binding in aubergine colored cotton from Joann's. Free-motion quilted.

This is gorgeous! I've been wanting to make this for a while - I even have some Kona snow ready to go. I love your idea of featuring a particular range!
