Desserts: Row upon Row

The word dessert comes from the Old French word 'desservir' meaning 'to clear the table'. Traditionally it is the course which comes at the end of a meal. Often, however, for me, it is the first course :)


Of the four available that day, sadly, I had only managed two: the raspberry tart and the creme brulee. Sigh, such a shame not having tried the other two...
