E-73 Wyvern

Newer Older

The E-73 Wyvern was developed by Laputa Skyyards for the Keshian Republic in the last year of the Eastern Secession War. Designed for close ground support, its 35mm rotating "Hellfire" cannon could pierce all but the heaviest armour. Wyverns were usually only sent on short hit and run sorties as they rapidly ran out of ammunition due to the Hellfire's rapid fire rate.

Wow, this is simply beautiful, I can't believe I missed it in my contact photos! This plane provided so much brilliant inspiration that somehow in the course of one night I ended up working on two planes! Thanks so much mate, you really are brilliant at these! Also, I think I'll have to see if Chromebricks can do Pearl Gold, hah!

Very classy, everything looks great and the stickers are a nice final touch. Really like the cockpit, prop, gun lineup - very original and excellent work.

why is it that any super-gun plane reminds me of warthog no matter the over all shape? =D

Awesome! How did I miss this one?! :(
I love how it's basically a P38 Lighting that's been shifted around so now the cabin lies where the engine once was, a gattling gun in the other engine housing, and the engine dead-center where the cockpit used to be. The design....It's so inspired!
