Melon Canape with Fig and Cranberry on Tofu Paneer

I made some tofu paneer last week (previous post) and had some fresh fig preserves left so experimenting I went -- the tofu was acidic enough to pair well with the sweet fig and cranberry and the cilantro and melon added a refreshing cleanse to the palate. What was missing....perhaps a spicy toasted pecan?

I think that these would be great with any melon and also a tofu feta, one could sub parsley or mint for the cilantro....

In any case, these are going to be great appetizers.
