Cinnamon Crisps

Recipe to follow.

 

1 cup wheat flour

2 tsp yeast mixed with 1/4 cup warm water

Water

Sugar

Cinnamon

 

On floured surface , place flour in a mound- once yeast has bloomed, make a well in the flour and mix in,kneading as you go. Add a little water at a time until a dough is formed. Rest 1 hour in a warm dark area then punch down and roll out until very thin- score into strips and fry in safflower oil- drain well.

Heat 1/4 cup water and add enough sugar and cinnamon to creat a syrupy slur- drizzle on crisps and then place in oven overnight.
