So here it is! This is the closeup setup that I use to pull extreme detail in small subjects. It consists of a Sigma 150mm F2.8 macro lens, coupled with a reverse mounted Canon EF50mm F1.4 lens. The adaptors are a special order 72MM male to 58MM female and a 58MM male to 58MM male. Forget auto focus, or even manual focus for that matter. To focus involves moving the camera forward and backwards. With a setup like this it is extremely important to keep subjects at one focal plane to keep depth of field.
