NEW YORK PORTRAIT ARTIST

Someone is PHISHING by linking to this or other pictures. They are sending bogus emails asking you about background sites, you being in the picture, something to make you click from your email. If you made it this far then you probably fell for thier plan. This issue has been reported to FLICKR and they are aware of it.

FLICKR's response -

Someone is phishing Flickr accounts and somehow your account

is tied into the original email that is being sent out. When

people contact us regarding the emails, this is how we are

responding:

Please rest assured that this email did not originate from

Flickr or any member of the Flickr community. The email that you received

is a 'phishing' scam. Phishing scams attempt to trick you into

providing personal information, such as your Flickr or Yahoo!

password, at a fake website that can look identical to a legitimate website.

Scammers want to trick you into entering your password at the fake site

so they can copy your password and obtain illegal access to your

account.

Flickr will never send you email asking for personal

information or your account password. If you think you have entered your

password at a phishing site, change your password immediately. If you can

no longer access your account, please follow the link below to start

the account recovery process:

I will pass on the information to our contacts within

Yahoo! for review. Below is additional information that may be

useful to Understand what phishing is, how it works, and how you can protect

yourself:
