Butterfly Decoration New

Newer Older

Since the "21. International Convention of Origami Germany" I'm crazy about Butterflies...

The first "trigger" was Kalami's wonderful butterfly-wall, in the room I slept in...

... and the second one was the butterfly-workshop by Robert Lang.

It was a nice chance to test nearly every kind of origamipaper I own...

Meanwhile there are some new Butterflies... some folded by me, some by friends...

Together about 170 butterflies, two birds and a beautiful Butterfly-Sonobe-dodecaeder.
One year ago: 82 Butterflies... Will be interesting, how this changes through time ^-^

There are a lot of different models from different designer.

And I guess I have to clean the arrangement a little bit some day ^-^

Wow, very beautiful! You could add some swallows (like Mabona's Pursuit of Happiness) =D
    (I found the crane =P)

Thanks everybody for the nice comment, notes and adding the picture to favourites ^-^

Looking at my Butterfly decoration, I thought about a little challenge.

In this whole Butterfly-swarm are only two pairs of Butterflies who are besides eachother and twins (same paper, same color, same size, same model)

    Can you find them ^.^

At some points it's a little bit tricky, I guess you need to look at the bigger picture ^-^

really beautiful, only one question, how you put it on the wall? did you glue the butterflies or stick with something? i will like to do something like this to my daughter, so I wanted to be sure to do it the best way
