Hong Kong - Communists and Police

I held my camera over my head to take this photo, in the way that I had seen news photographers do. I was in a crowd on the terrace of the Hong Kong Hilton Hotel, watching a confrontation between communist demonstrators and Hong Kong riot police.

You can see the police and the trucks that brought them. The demonstrators / rioters must be out of the picture, perhaps below the balcony where I am standing. The people at left are also watching. This was involuntary sightseeing for me. I had gone for a fitting on my new suits, at a tailor in the Hilton.
