The Whole Shrine and Nothing But
I have just re-photo'd the Shrine to Vincent, as I used a free throw-away pocket camera given to me by a friend before, with not so not much detail. My mother interviewed Vincent Price twice when he was in Bismarck, North Dakota for art lectures later in his career. She thought he was a swell guy and so do I. This is his autographed photo to her.
"Godzilla' is made from motorcycle parts and I picked him up a decade ago at the Ohlone Flea Market. He was made in Viet Nam. B-9 says two different phrases- 'Danger, Will Robinson," and "My Sensors Indicate an Intruder is Present," both always useful at parties. That little camera on the tripod was a gift to Mama from her co-workers at the Bismark Tribune, back in the 1940's. It's a cigarette lighter. So's the large Space Needle. Smaller Space Needles are salt & pepper shakers. That's Mama in the photo below.
