A change from the Aurora set. This is one from Utaklev beach on the West coast of one of the Lofoten Islands. It was my last shot from that session and the sun had finished (in joke) I used the Singh-Ray reverse grad for the sky, although it acted as a 3 stop hard grad as you can't see much of the sky. This caused the slightly magenta hues.
Arild on the other hand was bracketing his shots, and his 5D 'Classic' (one for Hamish) was not showing anything like the colour on the screen that my MkII was. This frustrated Arild no end. He got one over on me though, when he showed me his 'simply stunning' Aurora shot over the bridge. Wow that was cool.
So this shot is dedicated to Arild, for being a great guy and for taking so many amazing pictures. if you don't already know his work, head over there now!
