New Years Day 2010
Well a decade has passed, and I look forward to a completely new chapter in my life. I have many changes ahead, mainly being a father! Yipes.
A simply beautiful sunset broke the first day of this year and luckily I was there to witness it. This is shot from Loe Bar towards the Porthleven end. I used my new Daryl Benson 3 stop Reverse grad for this shot and it seems to work a treat. Thank you Babak and especially your Sister! I also used the 17-40mm on my 30d, which crops out any fringing and produces a nice clean image. The sky area around the sun was blended with 3 other shots to make it less obtrusive. I have just returned from a second trip down there this evening and it was nice but not quite as good as yesterday.
I am so excited to be getting some new equipment too. I feel a fool for waiting until the January sales because none of the gear I want is reduced! Ha ha, what a plonker. Oh well, new 5d, tripod and head soon to be ordered :0 Yum.
Hope you like the first of the year and thanks for the continued support and kindness. Always appreciated.
