Spanish Dragon, snail conqueror
A few of you might know that I like the odd macro shot. Well Spain was a real Dragonfly and insect fest for sure. Everywhere I went, Dragons of all varieties were flying about saying "take a macro shot of me" and then smiling obligingly. This one was perched atop some curious white snails which all climb these dried plants and then when they reach the top they die. I have no idea why but this Dragon didn't mind and almost seemed to revel in it's perch.
The dried grass out there makes a great even bokeh and the colours are rich and warm. I love the wing and body detail on this little guy. Great colors all round. More to follow.
