HIBISCUS FLOWERS & SWEET POTATO MANHOLE COVER

I thought it was interesting to see a painted and unpainted version of the same manhole cover only 50 feet apart....so here's the pics !

Taken after the rain, you can see the water in the recessions of the sweet potato. It is also missing some green epoxy paint from the right potato leaf. In the un-painted version, the sweet potato is not recessed, but caste in a different mold that raises the potato skin to the surface.

NOTE : I do not go looking for these things, and have probably missed some really nice ones ! Thanks again to Flickr member Only1Tanuki who was the first to inspire me to spend more time looking down than I normally do ! ;-)
